Cancellation policy
We understand plans change — here's how deposits, cancellations and rescheduling work.
When you book online you pay a £20 deposit to hold your appointment slot. It comes off your final bill and covers your initial check — so if your ears are clear or there’s no reason to carry out the procedure, the £20deposit is all you pay and there’s nothing further. Taking a small deposit helps us make sure valuable time slots aren’t wasted.
Cancelling or changing your appointment
If you need to cancel or move your appointment, please let us know as early as you can.
- Cancel 3 or more days before your appointment and your deposit is refunded in full.
- Cancel within 3 days of your appointment and the deposit is non-refundable — but we’ll always do our best to move you to another time instead.
- Prefer to reschedule? Get in touch and we’ll try our hardest to find a new time that suits you, keeping your deposit against the new appointment.
Out-of-hours appointments
Out-of-hours appointments (evenings and weekends) are booked as a request — a member of our team confirms your chosen time and date before it’s finalised. A £40 deposit is taken at the time of booking to hold the request and comes off your final bill. If we’re unable to confirm a suitable time, the deposit is refunded in full. Once confirmed, the standard cancellation terms above apply.
Home visits
Home visits are arranged directly with you once we have your details, and are only available within 10 miles of our clinic. A non-refundable £40 deposit is taken at the time of booking, as set out in our terms and conditions. It comes off your final bill.
If your ears are already clear
We always check your ears first. If we find that your ears are clear, or there’s no reason to carry out the procedure, the charge is the £20 deposityou’ve already paid — it covers that initial check, and there’s nothing further to pay.
Missed appointments
If an appointment is missed without notice, the deposit is not refundable. We’ll always try to be understanding where we can.
